Qualifications     

Essential:     Higher passes in Secondary education

Preferred:    Engineering Qualification or Quality Management qualification

Knowledge & Experience    

Essential:      Experience in ISO9001 Management Systems.

Preferred      A working knowledge of engineering best practices, e.g. lean manufacturing

 Skills    

Essential:    IT literate with Microsoft Package experience; Good communication, and organisational skills; Good presentation skills
 

Qualities    

Essential:     Self motivated and ability to work under pressure; Assertive with meticulous attention to detail 
 

Main responsibilities include:

• Act as a point of reference for quality matters and improvements
• Prepare action plans and measures for quality objectives and targets
• Manage document and record control systems
• Assist in development and improvement of processes and procedures
• Recommend quality control techniques and measures to ensure deliverables meet required standards
• Train and coach in quality tools and techniques
• Recommend improvements to resource management and standardisation
• Oversee supply chain controls, vendor management and incoming inspection
• Assist in development and improvement of quality standards for field operations
• Manage client complaints and non-conformances, including investigation, root cause analysis, lessons learned and improvement actions
• Conduct internal and external audits and follow up on improvement action
