Qualifications
Essential: Good secondary education
Preferred: Vocational qualification in Spray Painting and Coating
Knowledge & Experience
Essential: Experience working in a similar environment
Preferred: Training in Supervisory role
Skills
Essential: Skilled Spray Painter; Ability to organise and manage resources
Preferred: Good communicator
Qualities
Essential: Team player
Preferred: Can work under pressure, set and achieve deadlines
Main responsibilities include:
- Carry out work according to Departmental Priority Work List
- To carry out departmental duties on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as per ACE Painting Department Duties Timetable
- To liaise with Manufacturing Manager ensuring department input delivered in a timely manner to suit project requirements
- To locate and inspect all products and components are available prior to painting
- To follow instructions given in written form or verbally from Manufacturing Controller
- To utilisation of planning board and plan work for departmental personnel including materials
- To monitor and maintain company painting equipment
- To plan in advance weekend work and arrange departmental personnel cover when required
- Maintain minimum stock levels of all painting consumables
- Maintain minimum stock levels of standard paint and thinners
- All ACE label and sticker decals to be properly displayed on all equipment
